Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
In short:
- We collect only what you send us through the contact form or by email, plus basic technical data needed to run and protect this website.
- We use it to reply to you and to discuss your project. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
- This website uses no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies.
- You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your information: info@infibitinc.com.
1. Who we are
This website, infibitinc.com, is operated by INFIBIT Inc. ("INFIBIT", "we", "us"). INFIBIT is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, please contact us at info@infibitinc.com.
This policy applies to this website and to enquiries we receive through it. Information we handle while carrying out projects for clients is governed by our agreements with those clients.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect the details you enter:
- Your email address (required, so we can reply)
- Your message (required)
- Your name and company (optional)
If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. Please do not send us sensitive personal information (for example health or financial information); we do not need it to answer your enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and security systems automatically record basic technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. This is needed to deliver the website, keep it secure and investigate problems.
Spam and abuse protection
To protect our contact form from automated spam, we use a security check that runs in the background. It evaluates technical signals from your browser (such as your IP address, browser characteristics and how the page is used) to tell people apart from bots. It is not used for advertising or to build a profile of you.
Web fonts
Our pages display fonts provided by an external font service. To load them, your browser connects to that service, which receives your IP address and basic browser information.
What we do not collect
We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, social media tracking pixels or tracking cookies, and we do not create profiles of visitors.
3. How we use your information
- To read and reply to your enquiry, and to discuss or prepare a proposal for your project
- To keep records of our business communications
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot this website, and to block spam and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not set advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. Our spam protection may store small, strictly necessary technical data in your browser for security purposes. You can block or delete such data in your browser settings, but the contact form may then not work; in that case, simply email us at info@infibitinc.com.
Because we do not track you or sell or share your information for advertising, there is nothing for "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off. We respect them in any case.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural or targeted advertising. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our business: our website hosting and security provider, our email and productivity provider (which stores contact form messages and our emails), and our font delivery service. They may only use the information to provide their services to us.
- With professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where needed.
- Where required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the security of our systems.
- In a business transaction, such as a merger or sale of our business, subject to this policy.
6. Where your information is processed
INFIBIT is based in Canada. Our service providers may store or process information in Canada, the United States, the European Union or other countries, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries. When we transfer personal information from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's adequacy decision for Canada and the standard contractual clauses used by our providers.
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages and related emails for as long as needed to respond to you and manage our business relationship, generally no longer than three years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, for records related to a contract or for tax purposes). Technical logs are kept only for short periods for security and troubleshooting. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
8. How we protect it
This website is served only over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to messages and records is limited to people at INFIBIT who need it, and we use established providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
9. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@infibitinc.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law, normally within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Canada
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to withdraw your consent to its use, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
United States
Depending on your state of residence (for example, California under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. In the past 12 months, the only categories we collected were identifiers and contact details (such as your name, email address and IP address), your message content, and basic technical information about your device and visit, for the purposes described in this policy. We honour these requests even where a state law does not require it.
European Union, EEA and United Kingdom
If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the UK GDPR applies, we process your personal information on the following legal bases:
- Steps before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)), when your enquiry relates to a potential project
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), in replying to enquiries, keeping business records, and securing our website and preventing spam
- Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), where we must keep certain records
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you have given at any time (without affecting earlier processing). We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence or work.
10. Children
This website is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, our practices or the law. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
12. Contact us
For any questions about this policy or about your personal information, please email info@infibitinc.com.
